God Says - Learn to Pray

Why do you forget to call on Me, to decree, to declare
Rather than slip into the pain of despair?
Don’t you feel My peace in the air?
The quieter you get the more you will become aware
And then you will learn to release every care
You will finally realize that I am more than fair
Simply call to Me and I will be there

The battles are won by learning to pray
The more you learn My Word to say
Yes it is a battle of warfare every day
My peace and rest you will find if you stay
Learning to say to the devil’s friends, nay

How can you know Me if we spend no time
Not a poem or even a rhyme
Can bring you to the place, you’ll be behind
Come to Me and fill your mind
With My Word and its love and ever so kind

Do you believe all that you hear?
Finding that time builds into another year
Yes, it is simple, call on Me and I am here!

I am for you and not against,
But those who do not listen built a fence
The grass is much greener when you learn to see
That all of your worries can be turned over to Me
Don’t you realize yet by Me
You were made to be
Learning the truth about this will set you free
My love for you is greater that the depths of the sea
Reading My Word through your spirit is the key

Trusting in the power and understanding of only your mind
Will in the end leave you far behind
It is about My love and for all mankind
That brings what only the truth can help you find
Stop listening to people who seem so smart but lead people to become so blind
You can only find me through your spirit not just your mind

I gave you a brain so that you can think
But the lies of sin will make you sink
And some will even end up in the brink
Stop buying the lies like some sweet drink

How can you know the truth from the lies?
The closer you get to Me you will see through My eyes
Not like the devil or all of his guys
I don’t hide in some kind of disguise
No, no let Me open your eyes
To the truth that you will finally surmise

Once again I am here to say
The key is learning to become mature when you pray
It is learning to battle through the unseen warfare of each day
Coming to Me you will see it to pay
Learning to declare and to decree My word by what you say
I am here forever by your side to stay
Call out to Me, just say hey
That is the beginning of learning to pray
