God Says - Draw Near!

Draw near to me, this is the key
It’s what your soul’s enemy doesn’t want you to see
Then you can be all I designed you to be!

The truth of My love works not only above
As I told you before, it fits like a glove
No need for you to push or shove.

My plan for you is yours alone
There’s no other you need to call or phone.

I am all that you need to accomplish each deed
I have made you special and planted the seed.

Of your uniqueness I will tell
But don’t let it get to your head to swell.
My voice you’ll hear clearly like hearing a bell
I’m calling you back, though sometimes you fell.

To Me, you must know, you are a delight
I can see your future with prophetic sight

God Says - Draw Near!

It makes no difference by day or by night
You need not struggle, no not even fight.
But for satan and his friends another plight
Don’t allow his lies to take another bite
I will crush him with a slight touch of My Might.

Mankind was My best but failed the first test
And then I sent Jesus to save the rest.
Keep My true word close to your vest
And speak to Me only with every request.

I have so much for you to do
Yes bright and shiny with everything new.
Why aren’t there many, but only a few?
Satan’s lies trap most like caged in a zoo
To live life defeated and feeling so blue
But now you are hearing My gentle voice too.

Coming to Me will set you free
To become what I’ve always planned you to be.
When your eyes are opened up to see
You will not need a lawyer or pay any fee.

No, learning to pray and coming each day
In silence and worship and learning to say
All I have promised, My Word is the way
This is the reward I gladly will pay.

This seems simple rhyme, at this time, making clear
That the more that you come, the more you will hear
While building each day; into a successful year.

Then in the end you will come and be welcomed by Me
For living the life I had set just for thee.
My good, faithful servant, “please enter”, I’ll say
“Well done”, your reward come in, this is the way!
